ART WEB SITES................"THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY" The main thrust of this day course is to do with supporting creatives and their businesses, and the Internet is always part of that discussion. With the arrival of Web 2 – blogging, social networking, RSS and the like, it’s become very confusing for artists and craftspeople to decide what strategy will work best for them – especially when everyone starts telling you different things….Pete has spent the larger part of the last three years working with an ERDF funded project in Lincolnshire – and part of his offer to them was to get them all connected and ready to promote themselves online. He co-delivered a number of workshops on online marketing, SEO and the use of Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, You Tube and the use of email marketing campaigns as means of helping getting the message out there.
