Our Aims

[ home ]

"To support and promote recognised and emerging contemporary visual artists in solo shows, and to curate group presentations"

We are a free entry art gallery operating from a beautifully converted barn specifically designed for exhibitions. The gallery comprises of 1600 sq feet arranged over two floors, and it is situated in the rural village of Moulton Northamptonshire.

Our annual programme of 4/6 major exhibitions a year includes nationally recognised and emerging artists. We also stage 2 community arts events including our "jgallery prize" for innovation in the contemporary arts of Open Studios Northamptonshire.

We hold an annual "Open" Exhibition.

Working closely with THE University of Northampton, we have submitted a bid to be the designated exhibition gallery for the "Connect Programme 2009" which is a course funded by the Arts Council for post graduate artists leading to a certificate in arts practice.

We raise income by the sale of art work and by public and business funding and sponsorship.

Our future plans are to increase the number of workshops and courses related to the contemporary visual arts. This will generate additional funds for the support of our programme of challenging exhibitions including works of art on loan from National and International galleries and museums.
